PURE THEATER

is an artistic group with the nick name Dragons, Dragonistas or Dragonies.

We are sharing values, goals, actions, creativity, strength, freedom and friendship.

“PURE THEATER, is fundamentally about a dynamic, intense and integral experience of reality.” We are using the working method Step Out Of The Story (S.O.S.), developed by Eva Bergerová. We are not interested in entertainment, aesthetic or educational value, but we are turning backwards into the roots of the theater.

We go back to the ritual and ceremony that is the root of performance. So theater has not only a social, esthetic or educational value, but more… Pure Theater is more theatrical movement ritual then theatre.

Theater is happening in the present moment, and it has ability to take us beyond the time and space.

Pure theater performances are more of an event that the audience experiences, rather than something they simply watch.

Our performances are more about sharing then showing. Sharing the story, sharing the mood and atmosphere, sharing the vulnerability and soul. We are sharing this with other human beings. This brings a different experience for the audience. As the audience, you are part of the adventure. This is a simple shift in awareness only.

Pure theater has a root in ancient rituals and ceremonies of our ancestors all over the world. This is in the live traditions, the books and it is in our DNA memory.
